Legal Cashier - Our clients, a commercial practice who specialise in the property and corporate sectors have asked us to find them a further experienced Legal Cashier to join their team at their City office. This role offers the chance to provide vital support to the Finance Director and legal teams within a well-organised, dynamic, and growing firm.

About the Role
You will need to have 3–4 years’ experience in legal accounts, ideally gained within a residential or commercial property environment. You will be responsible for monitoring client accounts, checking receipts, and notifying fee earners, as well as carrying out daily bank reconciliations for both client and office accounts. The role involves ensuring that all transactions comply with firm policies and the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules, processing payments including BACS, CHAPS, Faster Payments and international transfers, and posting transactions accurately to the case management system.

Candidate Requirements
Applicants must have a solid understanding of the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules, VAT regulations, and AML requirements, along with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines. Proficiency in MS Excel and Word is essential, and candidates must be systems-oriented with strong organisational skills and the ability to work flexibly under pressure and to tight deadlines. Experience using the PracticeEvolve case management system and knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping would be advantageous, but are not essential.
