Legal Cashier
£18,000 - £22,000

Legal Cashier - Our client, a highly regarded leading Kent practice has asked us to find them a legal cashier to join the team on a fixed term contract basis with the strong prospect that it will go permanent. They are looking for an individual to assist in the management of the day to day running of the accounts department from one of their East Kent offices.

About the Role
Reporting on a weekly basis, you will be expected to update and inform the Accounts Manager on all outgoing transaction for the coming month. You will organise transactions sent via email; input all client/ office credits, debits and transfers; handle property completion statements; maintain bankline CHAPS and faster payment templates and handle VISA & Mastercard payments over the phone. You will need to remain up to date on SAR, anti-money laundering and cyber-crime policies and ensure that all transactions are diligently monitored.

Candidate Requirements
You will need to have previous experience of working within the accounts department of a solicitor’s practice, ideally 2-3 years.
