Probate Executive – Our client, a leading, long established London law firm recognised in Chamber and Legal 500 are now seeking a Private Client Legal Executive to join its highly regarded Probate team. Based in prestigious central London offices, this well respected firm is recognised for its top-tier private client work, advising HNW individuals and families.

About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and technically capable individual to manage a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters, as well as supporting senior lawyers on more complex estates. The role will involve administering estates, including collecting assets and identifying liabilities, liaising with banks, financial institutions, valuers, and other third parties, preparing applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration, handling estate accounts and distributions, managing estate tax reporting and liaising with HMRC, and providing clear, practical advice to executors and beneficiaries throughout.

Candidate Requirements
You will need to have solid private client experience and be highly organised, detail oriented, and comfortable dealing directly with clients. Applicants will ideally have experience in probate and estate administration within a law firm or similar environment, and a professional qualification such as CILEX or STEP. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent attention to detail and numeracy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. The role may also offer a pathway to further professional qualification for the right candidate.
