Residential Property Solicitor HOD – Our client is a well-established and respected law firm, serving clients across Surrey and beyond. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality, client-focused legal services with a personal touch. They have a strong reputation in property, private client, and commercial matters, and are now seeking an experienced and motivated Solicitor to lead their growing Residential Property team.
About the Role
They are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Head of Residential Property to take charge of the department, manage an existing caseload, and drive further growth and development within the team. The successful candidate will oversee all residential conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build transactions.
Candidate Requirements
You will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 7 years PQE in residential property. You will have proven experience in managing a team or leading a department, with strong technical knowledge of conveyancing law and procedures. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills are essential, along with a proactive approach to business development and client relationship management.
